TenniStation was founded by WASHIM RAJA, an ITF Level II coach, ATP certified GPTCA Level B coach and National Level Tennis Player himself, in 2018, with the vision of providing best quality tennis coaching across the country.


Washim Raja hails from Assam, a winner at the 7th Spirit Sport Meet in Assam, has the experience of playing various state and National level tournaments. He is the first coach from Assam to have cleared GPTCA Level B examination Certified by ATP. Amongst this, Washim indulged in a short project of 10 months with Zeeshan Ali Tennis Academy (ZATA) in Bangalore as their Head Pro working directly with ZATA’s Director , Mr. Zeeshan Ali who is the current coach of Indian Tennis Team and Captain of the Indian Olympic Tennis Team.

The mission of TenniStation is to develop Indian tennis players of international calibre, also coaching players from grassroots level to ITF professionals. At TenniStation, we are fundamentals/technique focussed and believe this enables players to reach their tennis dreams. Our team has the expertise and acumen in designing programs tailored to the player and the training facility. We have programs tailored to players at various levels viz., tournament players, advanced players, beginners, kids and custom sessions as necessary. Our coaches are also trained and certified in AITA and ITF tennis fraternity.

Washim Raja, a national level tennis player, represented the state of Assam in various national level tennis tournaments, winning many titles.

A certified ITF Level II coach, ATP certified GPTCA Level B coach, AITA Level IV Fitness coach, Washim also studied sports and performance psychology.

Washim has also successfully completed the Asian Coaches Workshop by ITF in Guangzhou, China, 2016 and the National Coaches Workshop by AITA in 2011, 2012 & 2013 alongside the 21st WW coaches Conference by BNP Paribas at Bangkok, Thailand in 2019.

Washim has also coached the Guwahati IIT Tennis team, catapulting them to the semi-finals of the IIT tennis championship in the very first year of coaching.

Washim has coached Reshma and Suhitha Maruri to emerge #1 ranked player in All India in the U14 and U16 girls category.

Coach Aquib having played cricket for the state of Assam and with his hard work and dedication he was selected and played for All India T20 juniors Championship.

On Board with TenniStation he will be the go to person for fitness and development for all players.

Coach Grabriel is a fun, fit and a pro Tennis Coach.

He has played professional football in Goa and Kolkata and has the distinction of representing Assam state in the prestigious Subroto Cup football tournament and Santosh Trophy (Senior National) before turning into a professional tennis coach (ITF Level 1).

Harjeet Singh, a national level tennis player from Assam and state #2 player as well as national school games runner up, who represented Assam in various national level tournaments, winning many titles.

He has been working under the guidance of Mr Washim, Harjeet works with intermediate and advanced level players, and he also looks after the fitness program for advanced and tournament level players.

Presently, Harjeet has been working as an Assistant Coach at Mumbai Schools Sports Association, Planet Godrej and Nirmal Park, Mumbai.

Coach Eahteshyam Hussain, is a state level Tennis player from West Bengal. He is an intermediate

Coach Pawan has participated in various College & National level tournaments. He was the captain of the inter university men's team and has also played the ITF Pro Circuit held in Egypt. At TenniStation he is on board as the Advanced Coach.

Coach Mayur has 18 years of experience in the field of tennis. He has even been part of the Level 1 Competitive coaching course that was conducted in Goa and also coached at many prestigious academies before he kick-started his journey with us.

With his experience, we hope to craft a story that will build a solid foundation for our students.

TenniStation's Coach Akash Kumar has been playing tennis since 2015 and ever since participated and stood victorious at Local and University level Tennis tournaments.

Akash presently works with kids and adult’s beginners to intermediate level players. He manages the kids and adults Tennis program of TenniStation in MSSA, Mumbai.

President Shri Ganesh Naik have turned the barren land given by CIDCO into an international sports complex. The gold medals won by our swimmers for our country reflect the talent and the quality of our training programmes. When we see a large number of members playing indoor and outdoor sports on a daily basis, it gives us immense satisfaction as a club and makes us want to give even more to the community.

The International Women’s Tennis Championship commenced in December 2013. An initiative of Shri Ganesh Naik and NMSA, in the very first year there were participants from 21 countries who vied for the Championship on Indian soil, while in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 & 2022 the numbers of participating countries were 18, 19, 21, 23, 23, 19, 16 & 16 respectively.

Some of the participating countries were Armenia, Austria, Australia, China, Georgia, Great Britain, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, Netherland, Chinese Taipei, France, Georgia, Greece and Romania.
